National Cowboy Museum is Hiring an IT Analyst (part-time) Near Oklahoma, OK

Part-time Hourly at $15 per hour

The National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum is looking for a part-time IT Analyst to join their Information Technology team! The Ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills with a knack for technology and be willing to think on their feet for various projects. No two days are ever the same at the Museum. This position is an onsite position and allows for only the occasional remote work.

As the IT Analyst, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be the initial point of contact on site for IT issues and will support local technology needs and training for the end user community.
  • Perform general Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration, including user and group management, licensing, feature configuration, M365 mailboxes, Group Policy, and file/print services.
  • Execute patch management/deployment for laptops, workstations, and software.
  • Assist with the various revamp projects going on around the Museum.
  • Assist with the Museum Events: Chuckwagon, Art Sales, Board Meetings, Western Heritage Awards, etc. which may occur in the evenings and weekends.
  • The Museum is working on many projects throughout the Museum and all tie back to the IT positions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest technologies.

Required

  • Some experience providing both onsite and remote support for end users with a company, university, etc.
  • Working knowledge of: Desktop Hardware, Windows, Desktop environments, Cybersecurity, Networking, and basic services like DHCP and DNS.
  • Proficiency with Desktop operating systems as well as MS Office and other standard desktop applications
  • Experience imaging, configuring, and troubleshooting PC workstations.
  • Strong team orientation with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships with employees at all levels across all departments.
  • Excellent leadership, motivational and communication skills
  • Ability to learn new software and technology.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
