Our thriving medical practice is looking for an enthusiastic, customer service orientated Medical Receptionist/scheduler that would like to join our team!

The desired candidate should be professional and understand the value of compassionate service. Responsibilities will include greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering phones, updating insurance, as well as the administrative duties involved with coordinating and keeping the physicians multiple schedules up to date and accurate. A professional who understands the value of compassionate service and has a strong work ethic. Other duties as assigned.

Education: High School Diploma

Work Experience: Minimum one year reception/scheduling experience in a medical office setting or equivalent customer service role.

EPIC experience a plus!

Skills: Knowledge of customer service principles and techniques.

Abilities:

• Ability to multitask effectively, dealing with phone calls, in-office patients, staff, and others pleasantly.
• Ability to communicate calmly and clearly with patients about appointments in all circumstances including when they are ill or have an emergency.
• Ability to analyze situations and respond appropriately.
