A progressive and growing community outpatient behavioral health organization committed to providing compassionate and affordable mental health and addiction services is looking for an experienced and passionate Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team.

As a key member of our clinical care team, our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner will provide support for individuals receiving mental health and addiction services (in co-located OMH and OASAS licensed facilities); conduct evaluations; formulate psychiatric diagnoses and treatment plans.

The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) provide medication management and medication-assisted treatment and administer IM injections of long-acting antipsychotic medications and/or long-acting injectable naltrexone.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Nursing Practice with specialty in Psychiatry and experience working with mental health conditions in children, adolescents and adults.

• A valid NYS license/registration and DEA license/registration

• Certification in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry strongly preferred

• NPI number

• DATA 2000 Waiver with suboxone/buprenorphine prescribing privileges, or experience prescribing suboxone

• Eligibility to serve as a Medicare/Medicaid provider

• Minimum of two years’ experience in an outpatient clinic setting, preferably mental health and/or substance use related

• Experience with medical issues related to substance use preferred

• Proficiency with computer and electronic health records

• Ability to communicate with all levels across the organization effectively (Medical Director, Clinical Directors and Quality Management)

• Bilingual Spanish preferred

Pay: $140,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year
