Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions
- Conduct technical accounting tasks such as journal entries and general ledger maintenance
- Process accounts payable, including reviewing and verifying invoices, coding expenses, and issuing payments
- Assist with tax preparation and compliance activities
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records
- Assist with governmental accounting requirements, such as reporting and compliance
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Manage accounts receivable, including invoicing clients and following up on outstanding payments

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
