Leaders of Tomorrow Youth Center, Inc. is Hiring a development associate Near Owings Mills, MD
As a Development Associate, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial success of LTYC through
strategic development initiatives. You will be responsible for cultivating corporate giving, philanthropic
donations, and securing corporate sponsorships. The role also involves coordinating pre-approved field
meetings, identifying fundraising opportunities, and contributing to the overall fundraising strategy. This
is a part-time position with an expected commitment of 20 hours per month.
Works closely with Director of Development
Reports to: CEO and Director of Business
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategies to cultivate and secure corporate donations.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners to maximize giving opportunities.
- Research and identify potential philanthropic donors.
- Create compelling proposals and presentations to solicit philanthropic contributions.
- Identify and pursue corporate sponsorship opportunities aligned with LTYC's mission and values.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful execution of sponsorship agreements.
Organize and coordinate pre-approved field meetings with potential donors and partners.
- Represent LTYC professionally and effectively communicate its mission and impact.
Proactively seek out and assess new fundraising opportunities.
- Collaborate with the development team to create and execute effective fundraising campaigns.
Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with existing donors and partners.
- Provide excellent stewardship to ensure ongoing support and engagement.
Maintain accurate records of donor interactions and contributions.

- Generate regular reports on fundraising activities for internal and external board members.
Qualifications:
- Experience in fundraising, corporate giving, or related fields preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with donors and corporate partners.
- Proactive and able to work independently to achieve fundraising goals.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
Availability: Must be available for occasional evening or weekend events.
