Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Dining Room Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the dining room operations, ensuring exceptional customer service and a pleasant dining experience for our guests.

Duties:

- Manage and supervise dining room staff, including servers, hosts/hostesses, and bussers
- Ensure smooth service flow and resolve any customer service issues promptly
- Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality control
- Train new employees on restaurant policies, procedures, and customer service standards
- Conduct interviews for hiring new dining room team members
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of sales
- Monitor inventory levels for dining room supplies and place orders as needed
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations in the dining area

Skills:

- Experience in the food industry with knowledge of food handling and safety practices
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team
- Proficiency in shift management and restaurant operations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective customer interaction
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and POS systems
- Prior experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles is preferred
