We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at Livingston Manor Care Center As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and support to our patients. Duties:

- Assist with daily patient care activities, including bathing, dressing, and feeding

- Take vital signs and record patient information

- Assist with mobility and transfers

- Collect specimens and perform basic laboratory procedures, such as phlebotomy

- Set up and operate medical equipment, including ventilators and DME (Durable Medical Equipment)

- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes to the nursing staff

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Completion of an accredited Nursing Assistant program

- Current certification as a Nursing Assistant

- Knowledge of basic medical terminology and physiology

- Previous experience in a hospital or healthcare setting is preferred

- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems (Cerner) is a plus

Skills:

- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

- Attention to detail to ensure accurate documentation and patient care

- Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team
