Lindsey Veterinary Care is a small two doctor animal veterinary practice specializing in general medicine, surgery & dental procedures. Our practice is M-F; reasonable hours. We are looking for full time employment and pride ourselves on the ability to be flexible to ensure our employees have a healthy life/work balance. As a small clinic, we involve everybody when we are making choices of who we will be working with, therefore the candidate will be hired by our entire staff, not just the doctor
LVC is currently seeking an individual with experience as a RVT. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with people as much as animals, be sympathetic and comfortable dealing with clients who are under stress. A self-starter, highly motivated individual is ideal. The ability to address issues on the fly is key. The ability to work within a high paced and sometimes chaotic environment is essential.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database environments, required. Knowledge with Idexx Neo is a plus. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
LVC is small office, and we all are expected to be able to perform duties throughout the office. Answering phones, communicating with clients and staff is a regular occurrence. LVC is a standard office and surgical environment, with exposure to hazardous chemicals, anesthetics and sharp objects. There is a potential of exposure to parasites and infectious diseases that can be carried and transmitted by animals. Our hours are Monday- Friday 8am-4pm. We rarely work weekends, or overtime.
