About the role

Learning Pool is seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to join our growing marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving internal enablement, shaping campaign messaging and positioning, enhancing the customer experience, and staying ahead through competitive intelligence for a selection of Learning Pool solutions. We need someone who will be an effective and collaborative champion for their solution set and for Learning Pool. 

Location: Flexible within the UK or US. Candidates must have eligibility to work without the requirement of visa sponsorship by Learning Pool.

What you will be doing

Roles and responsibilities include:

  • Internal enablement:
    • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure there is deep organizational awareness and understanding of our solutions.
    • Develop and deliver enablement materials and sessions to empower internal stakeholders with the knowledge and tools needed to effectively communicate and promote our solutions.
    • Maintain a comprehensive repository of solution information and resources for internal use.
  • Content development:
    • Craft compelling and differentiated content for inbound market campaigns consistent with our ICP, personas, and buyer journey
    • Work closely with the creative team to develop engaging sales resources, including collateral, presentations, and videos
    • Work with SMEs to build timely thought leadership. 
    • Develop customer case studies that showcase the impact that our products have on our customers’ people and businesses.
  • Customer Experience:
    • Craft compelling and relevant content that supports the customer journey. 
    • Collaborate with the customer success team to understand customer needs, pain points, and success stories.
    • Gather and analyze customer feedback to refine product positioning and messaging.
  • Competitive Intelligence:
    • Conduct thorough market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
    • Maintain a comprehensive competitive intelligence program, including battlecards, and provide regular updates to internal stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with product management to assess and communicate competitive strengths and weaknesses.

Who we are looking for

The successful candidate will demonstrate: 

  • A proven track record: You will have proven ability to craft messaging to engage customers which is clear, compelling and shows an understanding of technical solutions.
  • Communication: You will have excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively articulate relevant messaging both orally and in writing. You will be a capable presenter who can communicate across all organisational levels.
  • Analytical mindset: You will have strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and compelling messaging.
  • Delivering with others: You will have the ability to collaborate effectively with others, working with stakeholders, cross functional teams and customers to ensure that your solution set is skillfully and accurately championed 
  • Adaptability: You will be flexible in your approach asking "What can we do to make this happen?" rather than "I don't know how this would work?"

It would be highly advantageous if you also demonstrate: 

  • Proven experience in product marketing, with a focus on internal enablement, campaign messaging, and competitive intelligence.
  • Familiarity with the learning technology landscape and emerging trends preferred
  • Familiarity with learning technologies, skills management technologies, and artificial intelligence

Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional home office environment. It is expected the employee has a separate dedicated working space within their home. This role routinely uses standard office equipment and productivity tools such as computers, phones, email, instant messaging, Google collaborative tools, and project management platforms.

Mental Requirements:

Judgment, reasoning and decision-making, interpersonal interactions, memorization, strong organizational skills, math skills, simple and complex reading and writing, critical problem solving, significant attention to detail, critical thinking, and development of action plans.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, talk, and hear. The employee frequently is required to sit; stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Long hours working at the computer, using a mouse, and a keyboard.
