We are growing and excited to add an Account Manager who will be responsible for the daily customer service and technical interaction with our toll manufacturing customers. In toll manufacturing, the customer is also the supplier of components and chemicals. Balancing this relationship is a key function of the role. This role requires a customer centric focus and natural inclination to superior attention to detail. The candidate will work with our tolling customers to maintain adequate levels of inventories and ensure proper flow of materials for production requirements based upon their demand at our Baur plant facility. The candidate will be responsible for setting up outgoing shipments of finished goods. The candidate will be expected to perform all job functions and make necessary decisions using internal systems and critical thinking, exercise excellent organizational skills, and perform data analysis. Essential Functions:

1. Work with customers to bring in components and/or Raw Materials to support production schedules.

2. Manage inventory levels at the PCI facility in compliance with department goals. This includes inventory quantity, inventory turns, and space constraints.

3. Proficiently uses the PCI systems to perform all necessary job functions. This includes account support functions, order status reports, and data analysis.

4. Confers/coordinates with customers (using both written and verbal communication) to determine material availability, service, and delivery date/time. Communicates with customers to assure timely delivery (by expediting if necessary) and changes priority of components as needed based on production schedule demands.

5. Assist customers with their PCI allocated capacity planning. Must be able to communicate PCI’s needed timelines and quantities to customers to facilitate their ability to meet the required delivery date at PCI. This will be done both proactively and reactively depending on the situation.

6. Responsible for data maintenance in relation to open orders, PCI master data, and safety stocks.

7. Assists the New Product Coordinators with information regarding component availability. This includes proactively notifying all necessary parties of changes or unforeseen delays. Relay all component AND raw material issues to Account Managers.

8. Supports corporate objectives, including assisting with Sales, Pricing and Operations Planning. Assist with customer follow up with pricing in quoting process for new products.

9. Schedule and manage all incoming/outgoing freight of raw materials, components and finished goods. Must have constant communication with customers and freight brokers to ensure pick ups are on time and accurate.

Qualifications:

Knowledge/Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum of 2 years experience in Customer Service, Scheduling, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Material Management, Expediting or Contract Packaging related functions. Excellent written / oral / phone communications skills and organizational skills are required. Intermediate Excel skills are strongly preferred. A combination of demonstrated successful experience and training may offset education requirement.

Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids: Microsoft Outlook, PC, Microsoft Excel, Quickbooks, Dropbox, Microsoft Word, Calculator, Specification data, Standard office equipment.

Other:

The Account Manager is expected to maintain a professional and collaborative relationship with personnel in all functional areas of the company. This position is required to abide by all departmental procedures and company policies and rules.

The Account Manager reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain Operations. Hours are Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm.
