Child Care Center Director

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the school utilizing problem solving and conflict resolution
• Educate and mentor teachers, providing guidance and support
• Assist with curriculum planning, implementation and evaluation
• Coordinate and facilitate meetings and events
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Staff hiring, training and scheduling
• Establish family and relations
• Manage marketing and enrollments

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
• 2 years of full time experience in managing a center-based program
• A thorough knowledge of NJ Licensing regulations (DCF) for child care centers to ensure compliance with all state laws, as well as Kiddie Academy® policies and standards.
• Strong leadership skills and managerial experience
• Action oriented, organized, focused and creative thinker
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Knowledge of curriculum development principles and practices
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities
