Description
Summary:
Customer Service is our # 1 Priority. The Events Representative will work hand in hand with the sales team at swim meets and fittings. Packing for events, setting up and working the event will all be part of the responsibilities of the Events Representative. The reps may even be asked to take lead on meets if multiple events are happening at the same time. This is a part-time position; weekend availability will be required.
Requirements
Essential Functions/Primary Duties:
•Traveling and selling at Aquatic Events, typically weekend events depending on Swim Meet Schedules.
•Ensure events and fittings are performed to Kiefer Aquatics specifications.
•Operate POS systems and handle transactions at meets.
•Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with currently assigned teams and prospective customers.
•Coordinate with Georgia Team Sales Rep and Assistant Sales Rep to coordinate events.
•Prepare merchandise for Swim Team Fittings.
•Remain knowledgeable in all gear, apparel, and suits in inventory line.
•Responsible for upkeep of all event equipment, tents, credit card machines, iPad, and heat press.
•Assist with setup and takedown of meets or other events.
Education/Experience:
•HS Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
•Basic understanding of computer applications.
•Must be comfortable driving van and pulling a trailer.
Skills/Attributes:
•Competitive Swimming background preferred.
•Highly skilled regarding organization, prioritizing & above average time management.
•Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
•Knowledge of the swim industry is a plus, but not required.
•Computer skills - including Microsoft Office, Salesforce or similar CRM, Outlook, Lightspeed.
•Ability to work independently, and make decisions as needed.
•Reliable transportation to and from work
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This is a non-supervisory position.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position are representative of those that must be met in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
•Regularly required to stand for long periods of time, kneel, climb, twist, move about the warehouse, and push, pull, and lift in excess of 50 pounds
•Pack and prepare for all swim events
•Load /Unload trucks for events
•Drive Box truck/Van
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a part-time, hourly position where a flexible schedule is essential, the primary which is Friday through Sunday weekends (as early as 5:30 am). Occasional weekdays are required depending on the swimming season.

Salary Description

$15 - $17 hour
