Community Outreach Coordinator - Full-Time

Starting Wage: $28.24 per hour

(Wage Range: $28.24 - $35.28 per hour)

Coordinates outreach programs to increase awareness of Island Transit’s transportation options. Provides education to community organizations and individuals; develops promotional and informational materials, social media and website campaigns. This position is located in Coupeville, WA.

Location: Coupeville, WA.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Higher Education or certification in Public Administration, Education, Communication, Human Services or a related field, preferred.
• One-year of experience coordinating programs with community organizations.
• Experience working with adults, students, and school age children with a wide range of disabilities, preferred.
• Experience with or willingness to learn social media and website technology/protocols.
• Or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience that provide the knowledge, skills and abilities required to successfully perform the job.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver’s license. Must have and maintain an acceptable driving record through employment.
