Job Duties:

We are looking for an applicant with a passion for baking. Previous production baking experience is helpful but we will train a motivated applicant interested in learning bakery preparation processes and production baking. The position consists of mixing a variety of baked goods such as bread doughs and various other baked items in large quantities. Donut preparation and production may also be required. Applicant must be able to follow established recipes and preparation instructions and use commercial equipment such as mixers, fryers and ovens. The applicant must be able to learn and memorize a considerable amount of information, work in an environment that is fast paced and be able to multi-task. Bilingual in English and Spanish helpful.

Base pay starts at $16.50 to $19.50 per hour. Pay rate may be negotiated during employment interview for those applicants with more experience.

Requirements:

Must be able to work late evening shifts, weekends and most holidays.

Must have reliable transportation to get to work.

Must enjoy working with food and follow safe food handling procedures.

Repetitive bending, reaching and grasping required.

Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods.

Must be able to read and follow recipes.

Vision requirements include close vision.

Must be able to safely operate commercial equipment such as mixers, fryers, ovens, weight scales and a commercial dishwasher.

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

Must be at least 18 years old.

Must obtain a County Food Worker Card upon hiring.
