Job Summary:
Our law firm seeks a full-time paralegal/legal assistant to handle Virginia Worker's Compensation Claims in our Baltimore location. This position requires organization and the ability to track and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of phone call, emails and correspondence
- Gather and review information from clients
- Obtain, organize, index, and analyze medical records and documents obtained through discovery
- Maintain contact with clients
- Maintain attorney calendars including scheduling witness interviews, depositions, conferences with expert witnesses, mediations, and hearings
- Assist with drafting letters, pleadings, and answers to interrogatories, requests for production, and requests for admissions.
Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply. Maryland Worker's Compensation or litigation experience helpful.
