**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Records Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and organization of patient medical records at our skilled nursing facility.

**Duties:**

- Supervise and lead a team of medical records staff in maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records.

- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to medical recordkeeping.

- Oversee the coding, indexing, and storage of medical records in both electronic and paper formats.

- Train staff on proper procedures for handling medical records and maintaining patient confidentiality.

- Coordinate with healthcare providers to retrieve and update patient information as needed.

- Implement quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and completeness of medical records.

- Monitor record retrieval requests and ensure timely responses.

**Qualifications:**

- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred.

- Certified Medical Records Technician (CMRT) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification is a plus.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical records management or a related field.

- Proficiency in medical terminology, medical office systems, and electronic health record software.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage a team.

- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
