Summary:
Under the guidance of the Chief Information Officer (CIO), this project-based position will assist the Marketing department in performing, preparing, and/or organizing social media marketing campaign(s) for Goodwill of Southern New England.
A successful campaign should become a part of GWSNE’s future social media activities that can be expanded on with updated messaging and campaigns in the future. Any campaign should reflect GWSNE’s branding and corporate identity.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Background of interest: Marketing and/or Social Media Management.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including creative writing skills and use of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies and procedures manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and general instructions. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with troubleshoot issues involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Experience with general web technologies and social media platforms.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATION/LICENSING
May be required to use personal vehicle on occasion for business purposes.
