Global Skyware is Hiring a Forklift Operator/Material Handler Near Smithfield, NC
- Responsible for the safe and efficient receiving, delivery, loading and unloading of raw materials, component parts, antennas and other items moved inside and outside the facility.
- Receive incoming shipments and check against packing List provided by the vendor
- Count items to ensure that the order is correct and quantities match
- Put away product or incoming shipments to appropriate locations within the warehouse
- Operate forklifts to pick heavy boxes and transport them to appropriate locations
- Loading and unloading trucks according to loading and unloading procedure and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner
- Record damaged or defective items and report them according to company policies
- Ascertain that all incoming and outgoing shipments are properly labeled
- Attach identifying information and delivery instructions on containers
- Safely and efficiently load outgoing material/parts/components
- Complete required documentation and or load tickets accurately and on time
- Remove waste from area as needed
- Ensures that all company policies are followed and work area is clean
- Ensures compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned.
