This position is for our Certified Nursing Assistant Program.

• Registered Nurse: Hold a current California active license as an RN with a minimum of two years experience as an RN or LVN within the last 5 years (plus one or more of the following):
• Hold a baccalaureate degree
• Hold a valid DS/CTE teaching credential in Health Science and Medical Technology OR willingness to attain a DS/CTE teaching credential with at least 3000 hours of experience as an RN or LVN.
• A minimum of one year full time teaching experience in a state approved registered nursing or vocational nursing school within the past 5 years.
• Meet community college or state college teaching requirements in California.

OR

• Licensed Vocational Nurse: Hold a current California active license as a LVN and a minimum of two years experience as an LVN within the last 5 years (plus one or more of the following):
• Hold a baccalaureate degree
• Hold a valid DS/CTE teaching credential in Health Science and Medical Technology OR willingness to attain a DS/CTE teaching credential with at least 3000 hours of experience as an LVN.
• A minimum of one year of full time teaching experience in a state approved registered nursing or vocational or practical nursing school within the past 5 years.
• Meet community college or state college teaching requirements in California.

Maternity and Medical Surgical Experience is a plus.
