General Extrusions, Inc. is Hiring a Quality Assurance Manager Near Youngstown, OH
A manufacturer of extruded aluminum products is seeking an individual experienced managing quality functions and staff including inspection, audits and validations per ISO 9000 guidelines. Responsible for risk analysis, compliance with SOP’s / polices / procedures, corporate internal audits and point of contact for ISO and customer audits.
Will be responsible to supervise, direct, and coordinate the activities of the quality assurance program to ensure that orders are produced to specifications in the most efficient, timely, and economical manner.
Also responsible for the Quality Planning of new and/or existing products and processes to comply with ISO-9000 requirements. Administer the Quality Assurance activities, providing continuous improvement and risk analysis concepts to achieve quality goals.
Requirements:
- Knowledge and maintenance of an ISO 9001 quality program and administration of the internal audit program
- Knowledge of corrective/ preventive actions, continual improvement and risk analysis.
- Knowledge of Advanced Product Quality Planning
- Ideal Candidates will have the following qualifications:
- Certification in ISO 9001 Lead Internal Auditing
- ASQ Certification in CMQ (Certified Manager of Quality)
- Understand Gage Calibration
- 3-5 Years’ experience managing or running a QC department with at 2-4 direct reports.

- Continuous Improvement Tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
