Job Summary:
The Automotive Technician is responsible for performing Inspections and diagnostics, perform routine maintenance, conducting repairs on vehicles, giving customer's an exceptional experience.
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Diagnosis: Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify automotive issues and determine the appropriate course of action.
Repair and Maintenance: Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, electrical system repairs, and other mechanical repairs as needed.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients, explaining repair procedures and costs, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Continuous Learning: Stay updated on the latest automotive technology, repair techniques, and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements:
Technical Skills: Proficiency in automotive repair and maintenance techniques, with knowledge of vehicle systems such as engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension, and electrical systems.
Certifications: Certification from a recognized automotive training program or relevant industry certifications (e.g., ASE Certification) preferred.
Experience: Previous experience working as an automotive technician or mechanic preferred, with a demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair various vehicle issues.
Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and precision in performing repairs and maintenance tasks to ensure the quality and safety of work.
Physical Fitness: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods, and work in various weather conditions.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers and team members.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to diagnose and resolve complex automotive issues efficiently.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced automotive repair environment.
