DH Griffin Wrecking inc is Hiring an Accounting Manager Near Greensboro, NC

Join our dynamic team at a leading group of privately owned and integrated companies that provide contract demolition, environmental, and site development services. We are currently seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all aspects of accounting at our Greensboro Corporate Office. This role is integral to our financial operations and requires a proactive individual with strong leadership skills. Our company offers a collaborative work environment, opportunities for professional growth, and a commitment to excellence in all our services.

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounting using accounting software and other programs.
  • Handle accounting for separate/multiple entities and vendors.
  • Oversee the Accounts Payable (AP) department, including staff, leading monthly AP meetings. A Senior AP team specialist will handle the majority of day-to-day activities.
  • Support the Fixed Asset Manager in recording and disposing of fixed assets, including depreciation and disposals, using BNA fixed asset software.
  • Oversee monthly credit card coding and imports.
  • Manage billings and reconciliations between related parties, including General Ledger (GL) review for monthly invoicing.
  • Support the Treasury Manager by learning all aspects of daily banking, as well as preparing management reports for shareholders and handling daily entries/transfers.
  • Assist with state and local licenses.
  • Work with the Corporate Tax Accountant to file property taxes.
  • Handle sales and use tax filing.
  • Analyze workflow processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Supervise a team of four or more full-time employees.
