We are excited to hire a Video Production Producer! The Video Production Producer is responsible for ideating, producing, scriptwriting, location scouting, and coordinating interviews for Denver Broncos Video Production. This role will also edit short and long-form videos for all Broncos’ media platforms. This position will play a role in handling requests from internal departments and contribute to all areas of the video production process. Responsibilities Include:
Produce content by:
Being the lead producer (idea generation, research, writing, creating rundowns, scheduling guests, etc.) for assigned programming
Committing to exceptional writing and storytelling
Finding, securing, and supervising the locations needed for video production (on and off site)
Coordinating and conducting interviews as an off-camera producer
Ensuring that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
Reviewing completed productions to evaluate execution and incorporating reviews in improving future content
Developing professional relationships with Broncos Football and PR staff as trusted resources for content ideas/development/creation
Ability to work in a high-pressure, live environment and ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Edit content and programming by:
Editing, finalizing, and approving a variety of content including evaluation, audio sweetening and color correction
Collaborating with team members on all aspects of video production
Contributes to department team efforts by:
Assisting and participating in any department initiatives and activities
Providing feedback to others in the department relative to ideas and execution
Understanding priorities of work and the production schedule
Having a professional behavior and attitude, putting team above personal needs and pursuits
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Communication, Broadcasting, Journalism or related field
At least 3 years’ experience producing creative video content
Professional level editing expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere)
Ability to work in a high-pressure, live environment and ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Preferred Expectations:
Commitment to and experience in long-form storytelling
Experience working in media production with a sports team, venue or similar profession
Understanding of working in a professional sports team culture and its impact on the editorial process
Excellent news judgment and knowledge of NFL Football
Highly motivated, organized, and ability to take direction under deadlines
Flexibility to travel and work weekends and evening as required
Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the salary for this role is $70,000 - $82,500. This position will be required to work flexible hours including weekends, evenings and holidays outside of a normal working hours as needed.
