Cloverland Dairy in Salisbury Maryland is looking for a Class B CDL driver to deliver finished products to our customers in a safe and timely manner. We are willing to work with newly acquired CDL holders, to help kick start their career in high gear! Salary:

• $15.74 per hour plus commission

Responsibilities

• Daily Pre/Post trips on all vehicles assigned.
• Picks up truck/tractor trailer at start of shift and verifies load.
• Deliver products in a safe and timely manner to each customer assigned while maintaining and following all DOT rules and regulations.
• Picks up and returns all empty cases/pallets that were left from previous delivery from each customer.
• Must be able to use hand truck and/or power jack.
• Must provide good service and good customer relations.
• Must report all accidents, damages, complaints, or issues that may occur and is accountable for filling out all necessary reports.
• Must be able to use a hand-held device for making deliveries and be able to make necessary adjustments to ensure accurate deliveries and billing for our customers.

Skills and Physical Requirements:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service
• Must possess a Class B CDL and pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Air Brake Endorsement required.
• Must be capable of getting into and out of a straight truck numerous times over the course of the shift.
• Must be able to lift, pull, and drag a minimum of 50 lbs.
