Columbia Engineering and Services is Hiring a Civil Designer Near Duluth, GA
As a part of our team, the successful candidate will work with our engineers, planners and designers to develop technical drawings using engineering notes, sketches, surveys, reports, and/or detailed drawings to ensure each design meets what our client is looking for.
- Assist Project Managers by taking the lead on plan production.
- Work closely with production teams (other designer/drafters and engineers) to ensure coordinated design and application of best practices.
- Use technical manuals to ensure compliance with company and client standards.
- Ability to neatly compile data and perform design documentation required for the preparations of drawings and quality control checks.
- Associate of Science or Technical School
- Min 5 years related experience
- Or combination of education, skills and experience
- Expertise with AutoCAD software to prepare engineering drawings.
- Bentley products including Microstation and Open Road Designer (ORD) experience a plus.
