The City of Solon has seasonal Laborer positions available for the summer months.
The seasonal Laborer will use/operate tools and equipment such as: trash packer, leaf loader, recycling equipment, small power equipment, hand tools, wood chippers, salt spreader, one ton and smaller snow removal equipment, mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, edger and blowers; and any other tools as necessary. The duties of the seasonal Laborer are labor intensive. Employees in this position typically work outside and on public roadways.
The requirements for these positions include a high school degree or a GED equivalency certificate. Qualified applicants must possess a valid State of Ohio Driver’s License. A CDL License is preferred but not required.
These positions offer a starting pay rate of $18.7028/hour.
