Outreach and Marketing Assistant

Summary of Position Responsibilities: This position is responsible for development and maintenance of referral sources to increase the number of clients served in CADA programs. Plans and participates in marketing, outreach and educational activities to promote awareness of CADA’s services. Serves as an employee liaison for CADA Connection.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Basic understanding of the field of addiction treatment
  • Peer Recovery Support Specialist (PRSS) credential or in the process of becoming a PRSS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, basic web development principles and web marketing
  • Willing and able (current driver’s license) to travel and visit multiple locations, including rural areas

Essential Duties:

  • Identify and develop relationships with resources that may refer clients for substance abuse treatment
  • Develop large scale and individual resources in the field of mental health/substance use disorders
  • Attend and participate in networking events, speaking events, and conferences in order to increase community awareness and branding
  • Increase inquiry traffic to CADA
  • Effectively communicate CADA’s mission and vision to referral sources, community members, and potential donors
  • Maintain referral relationships by frequent telephone, email and in person visits
  • Work with Intake/Admissions, Client Engagement and Relations Department, and all other departments to facilitate admissions to CADA
  • Participate in marketing, outreach, mail-outs, and events as needed
  • Assist with volunteer engagement activities as needed and solicit resources from community organizations
  • Perform screenings and transport clients when necessary
  • Coordinate with the Director of Client Relations to plan, promote, and participate in CADA Connection events
  • Coordinate with the PRSS supervisor to provide PRSS services at the Fairfield location and assist with LASOR activities
  • Provide any other assistance to the client relations and marketing/development department as necessary.
