Citizens Health is Hiring a 340B Analyst Near Colby, KS

Citizens Health is recruiting a 340B Analyst to assist the 340B Program Administrator in maintaining a compliant 340B Program at Citizens Medical Center and other CAHs that Citizens Medical Center contracts with to provide 340B Consulting.

Citizens Medical Center - a 25 bed critical access hospital

Family Center for Health Care - an outpatient rural health clinic

Prairie Senior - a skilled nursing facility

Citizens Clubhouse - an onsite childcare center that cares for children 6 weeks to school age for our workforce

Citizens Medical Equipment - our durable medical equipment business

Palace Drug Store - our outpatient pharmacy

Location: 100 E College Ave, Colby, Kansas

Days: Monday through Friday

Hours: 8am through 5 pm

Pay Range: Dependent upon experience.

What you bring to the table: (Minimum Requirements)

  • Pharmacy, Nursing, or other medical field experience preferred
  • 340B On-Demand certificate preferred. Certificate within 6 months of hire required.
  • 340B Apexus Certified Expert certificate preferred.

What you will do:

  • Work on the Referral Capture Program to maximize the amount of specialist claims that qualify 340B while ensuring program compliance.
  • Performs maintenance of split billing software including NDC exceptions, physician exceptions, accrual issues, and NDC-CDM mismatches.
  • Collaborates with 340B Program Administrator in maintaining up to date 340B policies and procedures as well as provides expertise and training with the 340B Program to staff and participants regarding ongoing compliance.
  • Corrects any system failures discovered to help ensure program integrity and compliance with program regulations. Results identified as areas of improvement are to be presented to the 340B Oversight Committee for discussion and resolution.
  • Utilizes systems in place to identify accumulations to be reversed due to insurance changes.
  • Assists the 340B Program Administrator in special projects and reports as needed.
  • Uses Office of Pharmacy Affairs Information System for 340B pricing verification and registration accuracy.
  • Keeps current with changes and legal issues of the 340B Program.
  • Participates in the Apexus educational webinars in addition to vendor 340B education opportunities.
  • Attendance at the 340B Coalition Meeting as management permits.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Typical Working Conditions

Works in well-lighted and well-ventilated office. Requires intense and constant concentration, tolerance of low level noise and numerous interruptions. Must have good communication skills for interaction with all other hospital departments and healthcare members. This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

Typical Physical Demands:

Extended periods of standing and sitting, ability to lift 35 pounds. Must be able to respond quickly and appropriately in high pressure situations.
