Description
Position Overview: The Communications and Digital Media Specialist is a full-time position supporting the Communications department. Responsibilities include creating emails, blog posts, newsletters, maintaining the website, creating visually engaging content, and managing digital media.
Key Duties:
1) Content Creation and Management for the Communications Department

• Craft engaging written content that captures the mission and values of T Bar M Camps and Retreats.
• Monitor and troubleshoot all communications related to summer camp and retreat programs ensuring clarity, accuracy, and brand promise are consistently conveyed
• Learn internal database software, Circuitree
• Develop understanding of the customer database for targeted communications
• Produce year-round projects within the communications department contributing to the growth of T Bar M
• Collect customer survey results and stories for organizational use
• Assist with other external and internal communications duties as needed
• Regular content updates, design modifications, and technical enhancements to the T Bar M website

2) Design and Digital Media Responsibilities

• Create visually appealing graphics and multimedia content
• Capture the stories of T Bar M through high-quality photo and video content and editing
• Manage and enhance the visual identity of T Bar M across digital platforms
• Assist different departments in enhancing customer experience
• Collaborate with the marketing assistant on design-related projects
• Utilize Adobe Creative Suite for content creation
• Stay updated on design trends and implement innovative visual solutions

Education/Experiences

• Study in Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field preferred
• Expertise in Office products, primarily Microsoft Excel and Word
• Knowledge of email platforms like Mailchimp or Active Campaign preferred
• Experience in the Adobe Creative Suite and with DLSR camera equipment is preferred

Compensation:

• Falls in the Grade 4 compensation tier Assistant Directors
• Salary based on experience and qualifications and includes T Bar M's competitive insurance and benefits package
