Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Catering Coordinator. As a Catering Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our catering operations, ensuring that events are executed flawlessly and that our clients receive exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

- Maintain catering client base with regular follow-up and creating strong rapport and relationships so Bolay is their caterer of choice!

- Build catering client base by bringing Bolay to the community and builing trust with new clients.

- Coordinate and manage all catering events, including menu planning, food preparation, and setup

- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences

- Provide excellent customer service by promptly responding to inquiries and addressing any concerns or issues

- Supervise and train onsite team, ensuring they adhere to company standards and policies

- Maintain inventory control of food and supplies, ordering additional items as needed

- Oversee the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring they are clean and presentable

- Monitor event budgets and expenses to ensure profitability

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in culinary or food service management is required

- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients

- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and safety standards

- Experience in inventory control and ordering supplies

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail

- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Familiarity with restaurant management software is a plus
