Position Description:

The Development Associate will assist in BPPN's fundraising by soliciting donations and fundraising events as well as assisting in social media communication. The Development Associate communicates BPPN's mission and successes in a professional manner. The Development Associate also provides administrative and collaborative support to the BPPN Board of Directors.

Job Type: Part-time employee

Reports to: CEO, and as necessary, the Board of Directors

Responsibilities:

· Support BPPN's Board of Directors by taking meeting minutes for Board and other committee meetings

· Works collaboratively with the BPPN Board of Director's Sustainability Committee to assist with the annual Great Baby Beginnings annual fundraiser and any other fundraising events or activities

· Coordinates and supervises volunteers at fundraising events

· Database Administration

· Maintains donor database

· Acknowledge all incoming donations in an accurate and timely manner

· Researches potential donors, including corporations, foundations and individuals

· Assists with managing BPPN's website and social media

· Assists with media and marketing outreach

· Initiate a monthly giving program and assist efforts in outreach of Legacy Fund

· Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20,800.00 per year
