Position Summary
The Volunteer Coordinator supports the work of Blue Water Baltimore as it relates to stewarding and managing volunteers participating in our outreach, engagement, and educational efforts and events. As part of the Engagement Team, the Volunteer Coordinator will work closely with the Restoration, Water Quality and Development Teams to provide support by recruiting, coordinating, managing, tracking, and supporting volunteers. The Volunteer Coordinator provides meaningful opportunities for BWB volunteers to support community events, community outreach, tree planting events, and water quality monitoring. This position plays a key role in building a volunteer stewardship and recognition program. The Volunteer Coordinator is responsible for communication, volunteer retention and data entry. This position will end on December 15, 2024.
