Bri-Bet Security Solutions is one of Maryland's premier professional providers of full-service security and risk mitigation services and is currently seeking personnel for a part-time weekend access control position in Hanover, Maryland.

Area of Work:

Hanover, MD (Anne Arundel County)

Position is for:

Saturdays and Sundays, 8:00pm-8:00am

Requirements for this part-time access control position:

• MUST BE A UNITED STATES CITIZEN
• MUST ACTIVELY RESPOND TO PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, AND TEXTS
• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Must have a Maryland Security Guard card or be able to immediately obtain one upon employment
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must not use illegal drugs (drug testing is conducted by Bri-Bet)
• Must possess clean background (background investigation conducted by Bri-Bet)
• If prior military, must provide a DD-214 discharge document with discharge status indicated
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and possibly be exposed to extreme weather, noise, and other workplace environments
• Must have proper oral and written communication skills
• Must be conscientious and punctual
• Must have basic computer skills

Responsibilities for this part-time access control position:

• Monitor and control access to the premises during weekend overnight shifts.
• Utilize security and conflict management skills to maintain a safe environment.
• Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
• Conduct surveillance activities to ensure the security of the premises.
• Operate CCTV systems effectively.
• Utilize computer skills for data entry and report generation.
• Demonstrate sensitivity and understanding when communicating with others.
• Maintain Guard Card requirements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and individuals accessing the premises.

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

• 12 hour shift
• Evening shift

• Night shift
• Overnight shift

• Practical Police Course Qualified Maryland Handgun Permit (Preferred)

Security clearance:

• Secret (Preferred)
