Bri-Bet Security Solutions, one of the Mid Atlantic Region's premier providers of full-service security and risk mitigation services, is seeking current and retired law enforcement officers and military personnel with specialized backgrounds, to provide roving security patrols and protect an exclusive Business Park with approximately 2.5 miles of roadway near Fort Meade in Anne Arundel County, Maryland.

Bri-Bet is searching for personnel who possess specific skill sets to conduct the following duties (but is not limited to):

• Premise checks by roving patrols and foot patrols
• Possess a high level of observation
• Detect signs of intrusion and criminal activity
• Alarm response to alarms (SCIF, burglar, fire, etc.)
• Deter theft
• Conduct surveillance via physical and electronic means
• Investigate disturbances (to including loitering)
• Monitor employee, customer and visitor ingress and egress
• Render assistance to employees, customers and visitors when needed
• Write and submit reports via handwritten and/or electronic submission
• Notify emergency services (Fire, Police, EMS) in cases of emergencies
• Answer questions (both by phone and in person)
• Operate detection equipment/devices to screen individuals entering the property
• Prevent non-approved and prohibited articles from entering restricted areas
• Detain and/or remove violators from premises
• Inspect security systems and equipment to ensure proper functionality
• All other security-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Bri-Bet focuses on providing the highest quality and professional security services. We prefer Armed Security Officers who specifically possess one or more of the following skill sets:

• Current, former or retired sworn law enforcement
• Current, former, retired military personnel
• Disabled Veteran or Wounded Warrior

NOTE: Disabled Veterans or Wounded Warriors Must be able to perform the physical demands of a Security Officer's position).

Other Requirements:

• MUST POSSESS A PRACTICAL POLICE COURSE QUALIFICATION MARYLAND HANDGUN PERMIT, VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE, AND RELIABLE TRANSPORTATION
• MUST ACTIVELY ANSWER PHONE CALLS, EMAILS, AND TEXTS
• MUST HAVE A MINIMUM OF TWO YEARS ARMED EXPERIENCE (IF NOT MILITARY OR LAW ENFORCEMENT)
• MUST HAVE A CLEAN DRIVING RECORD
• Must be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma or GED
• Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States
• Must possess a Maryland Security Guard card or be able to immediately obtain one
• Must be able to qualify and remain proficient with assigned firearm on a semi-annual basis
• Must not use illegal drugs and must be willing to submit to unscheduled drug testing
• Must possess clean background
• Must be able to provide a DD-214 discharge document with discharge status indicated (if prior military)
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills
• Must have good communication and writing skills
• Must have basic computer skills
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time, and possibly be exposed to extreme weather, noise, and other workplace environments
