BeLoved Finds Thrift and Vintage seeks a dedicated and enthusiastic Thrift Store Sales Clerk to join our team. We are a vibrant thrift and vintage store located in the heart of North Park, committed to providing our customers with unique and high-quality second-hand items. • Location: 4129 30th Street, San Diego, CA 92104
• Hours of Operation: Wednesday-Sunday 10am-8pm (we would prefer a candidate who can work 2-8pm, Wednesday / Thursday / Friday).

Key Responsibilities:

• Donation Intake: Greet donors and accept donations. Ensure all items received are of acceptable quality and sort them accordingly.
• Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare donated items for sale, ensuring they meet the store's quality standards.
• Pricing: Accurately price items based on store guidelines and market value, ensuring fair pricing while maintaining profitability.
• Stocking Shelves: Organize and stock items on shelves and displays in an attractive and orderly manner. Rotate stock to keep the inventory fresh and appealing.
• Customer Service: Help customers with their shopping experience by providing excellent service and fostering a friendly and welcoming environment.
• Sales Transactions: Operate the cash register, handle transactions accurately, and maintain the cash drawer.
• Store Maintenance: Keep the store clean, organized, and safe. Assist with general upkeep and merchandising.
• Software: You must be able or willing to learn how to upload merchandise to OfferUp and Facebook marketplace. 

Requirements:

• Retail Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred. Experience in a thrift or vintage store is a plus.
• Customer Service Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift and carry items up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods. The ability to climb ladders with merchandise.
• Attention to Detail: Keen eye for quality and detail when cleaning, pricing, and stocking items.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Compensation / Perks:
$16.85 / hour
$800 - $1600 / month
