Job Summary:

The Automotive Service Advisor plays a crucial role in building customer loyalty by providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience throughout the vehicle service process. They are responsible for scheduling appointments, assessing vehicle needs, communicating with technicians and parts associates, and delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Schedule, confirm, and prepare appointments with customers to streamline the service experience.
• Greet customers promptly and in a friendly manner.
• Assess vehicle needs based on customer information and conducting a vehicle walk-around.
• Utilize a consultative selling approach to assist customers in planning for necessary vehicle maintenance.
• Create transparent repair orders for customers, including cost and time estimates.
• Communicate effectively and frequently with technicians and parts associates to ensure timely completion of job orders.
• Follow up with customers regularly to provide updates on the status of their vehicles and ensure their satisfaction.
• Ensure a positive vehicle delivery experience for customers.
• Set and achieve sales goals.
• Develop a strong product knowledge to effectively assist customers with service maintenance requirements and warranty information.
• Provide exceptional customer service to foster customer loyalty.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Two (2) years of relevant experience required.
• Automotive experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
• Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat.
• Prolonged periods of walking on a level surface throughout the dealership.
