• Conduct regular inspections of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems, to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks, such as lubricating machinery, replacing filters, and cleaning equipment, to prevent breakdowns and prolong the life of building systems.
• Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or systems, such as light fixtures, faucets, doors, windows, locks, and appliances, to ensure proper functioning and safety.
• Perform general maintenance tasks, such as painting, carpentry, drywall repair, and minor plumbing or electrical work, to maintain the appearance and integrity of the building.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment needed for maintenance tasks, and coordinate with vendors or suppliers for the procurement of materials or services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities, and report any safety hazards or violations to management promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inspections, repairs, and inventory.
• Provide assistance and support to other departments or staff members as needed, and participate in emergency response procedures or crisis management activities as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical training in building maintenance, facilities management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management, with knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical or technical issues effectively.
• Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards related to building maintenance and operations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with coworkers, and contractors.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
