Ainsley Search Group is looking for a Senior Accountant in the Delaware County area. You will be responsible for supporting the Financial Controller in a variety of accounting activities including overseeing accounting entries, reconciliations, analysis, and the collection and reporting of data to both local and Group management. Your role will also involve ensuring the quality, control, and customer service aspects of the invoicing process, guaranteeing adherence to proper invoicing procedures, and interpreting and clarifying invoicing policies.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process invoices, ensuring compliance with revenue recognition policies.
• Lead cross-functional efforts and training with groups outside of corporate accounting.
• Identify and promote best practices for invoicing and revenue recognition process improvements.
• Support audit activities and serve as the main point of contact for revenue cycle testing.
• Coordinate the monthly close process, preparing, verifying, and controlling journal entries.
• Manage cash for corporate accounts, including posting receipts, disbursements, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile accounts to monthly bank statements.
• Review open and overdue accounts receivable, coordinating collection schedules with marketing/customers.
• Coordinate meetings with Sales and Aftermarket teams to support collection activities.
• Collaborate with the Internal Control Lead to review, test, and analyze processes for compliance with corporate standards.
• Perform other accounting, financial, or administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing or the automotive industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, with strong Excel skills.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
