This position is 100% travel.
In addition to cabling this position will aid Deployment Engineers as well as Solutions Engineers in deploying networks including but not limited to the following tasks:
· Infrastructure cabling of network
· Work with Solutions Engineers to determine hardware specifications
· Deploy network according to design specifications
· Begin learning basic programming and configuration of hardware
· Daily and weekly reporting as required
Qualifications:
· Possess a basic understanding of commercial infrastructure and computer networks.
· Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products.
· Ability to work on ladders and lifts as required to reach cabling or install equipment.
· Able to safely lift 70lbs and stand on their feet for prolonged periods of time.
· Individual must be familiar with and able to properly terminate various types of cable, including both Ethernet and Fiber types.
· Knowledgeable and experienced in running both Ethernet and Fiber cabling in a manner that is both aesthetically pleasing and adheres to all codes.
· Must be able to pass background check and drug tests.
Prior experience with testing software including qualifications, certifications, and Wi-Fi heatmapping is highly preferred but not required.
