The Medical Director, Plasma Services is responsible for providing medical oversight for all ADMA BioCenters donor centers. The Medical Director provides guidance and technical knowledge to all medical staff in centers. This individual assists with the selection and training of Center Medical Directors and provides procedural and technical support as needed. This position is also the backup medical director to all donor centers and is required to maintain a license in the states where ADMA BioCenters are located.

The Medical Director follows all FDA, CLIA, and OSHA policies and procedures and maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor, and company information. They assist with the administrative duties to support the medical staff in the Centers and maintain compliance with procedures and regulations while following current Good Manufacturing Practices.

The functions of this position include but are not limited to:

• Review and approval of all policies and procedures related to CLIA, donor testing, and donor suitability.
• Provides support to medical staff in the investigation of issues and or Post Donation Information incidents providing technical knowledge regarding impact to donors and/or product.
• Participates as a team member or lead for the implementation of new processes or procedures as needed.
• Provides technical knowledge for responses to regulators, customer, and internal entities.
• Provides direct support to a Center if a Medical Director is unavailable.
• Maintains their medical license in good standing providing evidence as necessary.
• Supports either directly or indirectly the annual competency assessment of center medical directors.
• Reviews center medical meetings and training to ensure compliance with regulatory and procedural requirements.
• Evaluates laboratory testing and interpretations of results for impact on donor and product as necessary.
• Supports the Quality Director – Internal Affairs with interpretation and compliance of CLIA regulatory requirements.
• Support the Sr Manager Specialty Programs in the development, implementation, and growth of specialty immunization and collection programs.
• Reports all unsafe situations or conditions as identified.
• All other duties as assigned by management.

• Current or the ability to obtain MD or DO license in all states ADMA operates
• Annual GMP training
• Strong organizational skills
• Strict adherence to current good manufacturing procedures (GMP)
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to interpret medical information to formulate appropriate actions
• Occupational Exposure to bloodborne pathogens
• Ability to stand and bend for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift, pull, or tug up to 40lbs
• Occasional travel to ADMA locations
• Ability to train others required
