A dynamic company is searching for a Director of Finance/Controller to join their leadership team. You will be engaged in:

• Overall responsibility for accounting and finance activities of the company
• Oversight of monthly, quarterly and annual accounting close processes and
• Coordinates the preparation of financial statements
• Manage the relationship and interactions with external auditors and tax advisors
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Analysis and reporting
• Treasury
• Assist executive team with strategic planning
• Process improvement initiatives
• Develop and maintain policies and controls
• Team supervision and development

You offer:

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting/finance or similar field
• MBA/Masters Degree and/or CPA is a plus
• Experience in public accounting is a plus
• 8 years of progressive experience to a similar role
• Experience with mid to large market companies is a plus
• Strong technical accounting and finance background
• Experience in the commodities industry is a plus
• Effective leader with a positive personality style
• Enjoy leading a team and working with a variety of professionals
