America's Auto Auction is continuing to grow. If you are interested in becoming a part of a great team please apply. The Tow Truck Driver stays on Auction property and does not require a CDL. This position will tow inoperable or no key vehicles to other locations on the lot. This will be a first shift position Monday through Friday with occasional Saturdays if necessary. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interact with customers and coworkers, speaking to them about automotive problems.
• Potentially diagnosing the cause, and providing necessary assistance.
• Ability to communicate well and will need to have a basic knowledge of cars and automotive parts. Many tow truck drivers will

Requirements

At the very least, candidates must have a valid driver’s license and a record of safe driving to become a tow truck operator. In general, you should be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or the equivalent. Prior work experience isn’t normally required, but having experience operating a tow truck is always a plus. 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks; manual dexterity
• Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception
• Must be able to lift/push/pull 20 lbs.
• Must have knowledge in "jump starting" automobiles
