We are a growing eye care practice looking for an optician. We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic candidate that that loves fashion and style to help style a patient into a pair of glasses. In addition to styling patients in glasses, we are looking for a candidate that is comfortable with receptionist work, answering phone calls, administrative duties, and performing special testings. However, main focus will be on the optical side.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING.

Hours - Saturdays are required.

• Monday 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Thursday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:45am - 1:00pm

What you will be doing

• Frame style and check out patients
• Order glasses
• Order contact lenses
• Inventory count
• Inventory frame
• Ensure frame boards are organized
• Bill insurance
• Edge glasses
• Return Frames
• Match up invoice to statements
• In addition, other responsibilities will be working with the team for other shared administrative tasks which include, answer phone calls, make appointments, check in patients, perform diagnostic testing, perform pretesting tests, verify insurance, call and verify appointments, scan files, fax drug prescriptions, prior authorization, fax records, receive and fax medical records, referrals , check voicemail/respond to voicemail, check email/respond to email, refill on supplies, and adjust glasses frames.
