We are a growing eye care practice looking for an optometrist assistant. We are looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic candidate that is caring and compassionate and loves two work with people. We are looking for a candidate that is comfortable with receptionist work, answering phone calls, administrative duties, and performing special testings. The main duties for the position is to assist the doctor, perform preliminary and diagnostic testing for the doctor.

NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. WE WILL PROVIDE TRAINING.

Hours - Saturdays are required.

• Monday 10:00am - 4:00pm
• Tuesday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Wednesday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Thursday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Friday: 8:45am - 6:00pm
• Saturday: 8:45am - 1:00pm

• Answer phone calls

• Check in patients

• Call and verify appointments
• Scan files
• Fax drug prescriptions
• Prior authorization
• Fax records
• Receive and fax medical records
• Referrals
• Check voicemail/respond to voicemail
• Check email/respond to email
• Refill on supplies
• Adjust glasses frames
