The following duties for the position listed shall include but not be limited to;
· Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate with a diverse client base.
· Ensure smooth and profitable operation of the Service department.
· Promote ASAP throughout whole department to maximize sales.
· Adhere to agreed upon payroll budget to maximize monthly contribution.
· Ensure adequate number of trained technicians are on duty during hours of operation.
· Responsible for answering incoming phone lines for service.
· Provide and / or arrange training, direction and scheduling for all service department staff.
· Assume full responsibility for the proper use, security, care and maintenance of all dealership service equipment.
· Ability to safely handle the movement, loading, unloading, and test riding of products for customers and quality control checks.
· Ensure that all customers are greeted, assisted and provided the opportunity to receive the maximum and most complete work performed on their equipment.
· Have the ability and desire to sell the department services, parts and accessories.
· Ability to keep current on manufactures bulletins, recalls and documents and forward to service department employees.
· Ability to meet deadlines and accurately complete daily paperwork in a timely and efficient manner.
· Responsible for scheduling all service work (internal and external) and monitor promise dates and times.
· Success will be determined by your ability to properly schedule service work and control tickets from the beginning of the process through completion.
· Deliver new and used units sold to customers by the Sales Department.
· Abide by all dealership policies pertaining to the department and the dealership.
· Follow company dress codes and be well groomed at all times.
· Any other specific duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and the dealership as a whole.
· Maintain a positive working relationship with all department heads.
