RadioMedix Inc., a Biotechnology Company headquartered in Houston, Texas, is seeking a mid level Facility Maintenance and EM Technician. RadioMedix seeks to hire highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals interested in nuclear medicine research and development and influencing change within the Nuclear Medicine landscape.
Facility Maintenance responsibilities:

• Properly receives incoming materials according to RadioMedix material specifications
• Assists in building maintenance
• Empties all waste containers and replace sticky mats as necessary
• Survey’s trash for radioactivity as part of radiation safety program
• Assists in facility upkeep including checking ceiling tiles, cleaning bench top spaces, and ensuring the warehouse and QC labs are in a state of control
• Assists in building maintenance including repairs

Environmental Monitoring responsibilities:

• Performs Environmental Monitoring responsibilities according to cGMP standards
• Maintains proper housekeeping expectations and cleaning of restricted areas including aseptic manufacturing spaces (clean rooms) and QC Labs
• Follows written procedures that pertain to all Environmental Monitoring and Cleaning
• Adheres to cleaning schedules including daily, weekly and monthly cleanings according to RadioMedix procedures
• Adheres to proper gowning while entering restricted areas according to ISO classification

Other Responsibilities:

• Be self-motivated and able to work as a team member when needed
• Ensures a safe and quality working environment through training, awareness, and compliance to safety guidelines and SOP’s
• Follows and promote on-the-job safety expectations, including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and following cGMP rules and guidelines in all designated areas
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 40 pounds etc.)
