Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and financial management, ensuring the accuracy of financial information and compliance with regulations.

Duties:

• Process job costed payroll accurately and timely.
• Assist with Davis Bacon wage processing.
• Accounts receivable/payable: Manage the entire accounts receivable and payable process, including invoicing, processing payments and resolution of any discrepancies.
• Assist with cash flow management.
• Collaborate with the Controller and other members to improve processes and streamline operations.
• Provide support for audits and tax filings as needed.
• Assist with special projects.

Experience:

The successful candidate should possess the following skills and qualifications:

• Minimum of 4-6 years of accounting experience, finance or accounting degree preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Self-directed, critical thinker.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS office applications, especially Excel. Computer Ease knowledge a plus.
