Transforming Lives, Inc. is a minority-owned small business located in Wilmington, Delaware. We provide alternative education services to students with behavioral/mental health challenges. We offer a full continuum of evidence-based alternative programming for youth. Transforming Lives, Inc is seeking two highly qualified professionals to manage/lead our alternative education program in Dorchester County, Maryland, beginning in the 24/25 school year. These individuals will supervise a cadre of education professionals that includes classroom teachers, classroom assistants, behavior interventionists, and counselors/clinicians. The program will serve up to 24 elementary school students and 24 middle school students. We are looking for one leader for the elementary program, and another the middle school program.
SUMMARY
The Program Directors are responsible for all operations and outcomes, and have general oversight of the entire program. They lead the way by creating a blue print of success for all stakeholders and ensure that it gets communicated openly and followed with fidelity. With student learning at its core, the Dorchester County alternative program aims to ensure that students needing additional therapeutic and restorative supports receive individualized, tailored services that enable them to access the curriculum and learn at grade level and beyond.

· The DCPS leaders will primarily work in one area (school/classroom), but will have responsibilities to interface with partnering public schools within the district.
TRAVEL
· This position requires occasional travel between schools and programs.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
· Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
· Experience in one or more of the following, or a related field: clinical psychology; school leadership; social work; professional development/training for educators; department head; school leader (e.g., principal or assistant principal).
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
· Doctorate degree
