STARTING DATE:2024 – 2025 School Year, on an as-needed basisREPORTS TO:Supervisor of Workforce DevelopmentWORK YEAR:August – May; Monday–Thursday evenings from 5:00 – 8:00 as neededSALARY RANGE:$31 per hour with opportunity to advanceQUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:●Minimum high school diploma or equivalent●Ability to obtain appropriate valid Ohio teaching license/certificate●Minimum of 5 years documented experience in the Manufacturing Industry●Ability to communicate effectively in an adult education environment●Dependable and flexible to various work schedules●Ability to maintain a clean and organized workshop●Highly motivated self-starter with excellent organizational skills●Strong positive interpersonal and public relation skills●Must work well in a cohesive team atmosphere●Documented evidence of a clear criminal recordRESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:●Ability to instruct, retain and successfully complete students enrolled in the part time CNC/Precision Machining course of study●Provide students instruction in various types of precision measurement including calipers, micrometers, height gage, Mueller gage, and tape measure●Train students in advanced skills of quality control and assurance, ID and OD gages/measurement, and parts testing/troubleshooting●Prepare students for course assessments, certification, and relevant/applicable Industry Recognized Credential●Work to prepare students for employment opportunities within the Manufacturing career field●Ability to work evening during the academic year from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday●Maintain complete and accurate records as required by law, district policy and administrative regulation●Actively assist in upholding and enforcing school rules, administrative regulation and Board Policy●Remain free of any non-prescribed controlled substance or alcohol abuse in the workplace throughout employment●Assume any other responsibilities as assigned by the Board of Education, Superintendent, Supervisor, or their designee(s)DEADLINE:Open until filled.
