The Dental Assistant is hired in conjunction with the Delta Dental Foundation of Minnesota grant. The purpose of the grant is to create a sustainable model to increase the oral health of older adults that live within our communities, whether long or short term. Educating residents, families, and employees about the importance of oral care in their daily lives. In this unique practice setting, dental assistants work in conjunction with a dental hygienist through collaborative practice with an off-site dentist, utilizing state of the art portable equipment and technology to provide oral health services to our residents where they live.
